I never liked going to 12 teams.
Make the cfp 8 teams next year so we don't have games like the Hosers at ND. Do something, but fix this mess.
I didn't like Az State and Boise getting byes.

Notre Dame vs Bama would have been a better game

Lol you’re not going to eliminate blowouts no matter what you do. The last 6 national title games were blowouts. Including a 65-7 thriller just two years ago. You want to go back to voting for the champion? There’s nothing wrong with 12 teams. It gives more teams a chance to get in and that’s ultimately better for the sport. And better for teams like Illinois because PT and NIL can actually help level the playing field a bit.

I know you didn’t, but for Alabama to be deserving you’d have needed to expand the playoffs to 16 teams. Can’t put a 3 loss team in over a 1 loss team IMO.
