Alabama needs to buy themselves a new O-line and consider sending Tommy Rees back to the minors.

Thought I heard Texas had a great DLine.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

If UW kneeled and punted, TX would have gotten the ball back with less than 10 seconds left!

This is a pretty tight nit to pick - if they get a first down the game is over, not running a play to avoid an injury time stoppage is a bit of a stretch. I guess the real reason not to run a play is in case you fumble.

The real mistake came on the previous drive where they got their last FG. On 3rd and goal from the ten, they called a pass play, and Penix threw the ball away when there was no open man. That was 30+ seconds there - they either need to run the ball or tell Penix that he needs to have an open man or go down in bounds.

I disagree that taking the knee, instead of having the guy with the bad foot run the ball, is a nitpick there.

But agree that the play calling in the previous drive was suspect as well.

You’d have thought Getsy was calling the plays! No way Penix can overcome that nonsense!  :o

I was listening on the radio, but I thought I heard someone say if they take a knee the Longhorns would have had almost no time left.

Probably 15 to 20 seconds.

It was clown shoes. I bet even Eberlose would not have fucked it up as much.

DaBoer is really impressive. 105-11 over 3 programs? Wonder if he has NFL chops.

He has the stupid play calling/clock management part down.

If you take Washington undefeated with an Indiana transfer at QB throwing like it's Mike Leach at Texas Tech, I can forgive a clock screw up.

Does this mean we can no longer talk about Bert Bielema?

Hopefully Justin Fields. Looks like you’ve ran everybody off…

The contract alone makes this a no brainer. If they keep him, means Poles is actually as idiotic as I have claimed.
