First, I mentioned that all of the races listed were winnable but that the GOP would probably win the majority of them.
Warnick is fine as a candidate. Will see how he does when it is an off election. The rest, shaky at best.
Nothing wrong with Lamb either. Probably would have beaten Oz. If Fetterman is popular as you claim, he shouldn't be in a race at all with Oz.
You sure do love Lt. Governors. They don't do jack shit and no one knows who they even are.
Warnock won election to the Senate in a runoff. That's as "off election" as you can get.
Gavin Newsom has a 30% chance of being the Democratic nominee. He was groomed for Governor as Lt Gov.
Fetterman isn't in a race with Oz. The closest that race ever gets is 6 points, and when you get down to brass tacks, Fetterman's persona will enthuse his voters, people will vote *for* Fetterman. Nobody is voting *for* Oz - they are just voting against "The Democrat". That's not a recipe for success.
What's so amusing about this thread is you are saying that the *Democrats* are putting up bad candidates, when the GOP has trotted out Herschel Walker, Mehmet Oz, Blake Masters and JD Vance. Tim Ryan being close in Ohio is solely a function of Vance being despicable. Had the GOP found a full slate of "Adam Laxalt - generic Republican", this could be a lot different. It is ironic, the rabid base that has elected the nutters would show up for "Generic Republican" but there are enough of them to defeat "Generic Republican" in the primary, so we are left with nutcases that depress Generic Republican turnout and can't win independents.
