Assume this is even true, is there a crime?

Based on an indictment announced by the U.S. Department of Justice in April 2026, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was accused of having a paid informant who was involved in the planning of the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

According to the DOJ indictment and related statements:

*Infiltration and Planning: A field source/informant working under SPLC supervision was a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally.

*Active Involvement: Prosecutors allege that this informant, while acting at the direction of the SPLC, helped coordinate transportation to the event for several attendees.

*Racist Postings: The indictment alleges the informant made racist postings under SPLC supervision.

*Payments: The individual involved in the Unite the Right planning was reportedly paid over $270,000 by the SPLC between 2015 and 2023.

*Allegations of Manufactured Extremism: Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche alleged that the SPLC was "manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred," according to the 2026 indictment.

The SPLC has stated it will vigorously defend itself, with a representative calling the charges a political targeting of their work by the Department of Justice

Enlightened AI Review

AI slop refers to low-quality, high-volume, AI-generated content (images, text, video) designed to exploit attention, drive clicks, or fill social media feeds with, according to Merriam-Webster's 2025 word of the year definition. It is often "garbage" content—like fake celebrity stories or nonsensical videos—that clogs platforms, spreads misinformation, and makes it harder to find authentic content.

What is AI slop

AI slop refers to low-quality, high-volume, AI-generated content (images, text, video) designed to exploit attention, drive clicks, or fill social media feeds with, according to Merriam-Webster's 2025 word of the year definition. It is often "garbage" content—like fake celebrity stories or nonsensical videos—that clogs platforms, spreads misinformation, and makes it harder to find authentic content.

Key Characteristics of AI Slop

*Low Quality & High Volume: Created instantly and in massive quantities to feed the "attention economy".

*Common Themes: Often involves "heartwarming", religious, or military scenes (e.g., children building with sticks, Jesus in a suit) designed to bait engagement.

*Visual/Textual Inconsistencies: Images may have strange textures, weird limbs, or text that makes no sense.

*"Garbage" Substance: Lacks, as CBC News reported, real meaning, acting as "mishmash of junk" rather than thoughtful creation.

Potential Impacts

*Internet Pollution: Overwhelms platforms like YouTube and Facebook, making genuine interaction harder.

*Misinformation & Deception: Spreads fake images/videos of political figures, as Kansas Reflector reported.

*Economic/Ethical Harm: Takes, as this YouTube video notes, advertising revenue from real creators and uses human-made work without compensation to train models.

*Cognitive Impact: Potentially lowers attention spans and, as noted in the CBC article, offers zero learning value for children.

Identification & Mitigation

*Spotting Slop: Look for unnatural details in images (e.g., too many fingers, blending textures) or text that feels repetitive, overly smooth, or uses strange formatting.

*Mitigation: Platforms are beginning to detect and penalize AI-generated spam, while users can "touch grass"—a term, as PBS News noted, for returning to the real world—by reducing reliance on engagement-driven feeds.

Note: The term "slop" was named the 2025 word of the year by Merriam-Webster's human editors, indicating the growing backlash against this form of content.

Ha ha.

The Internet became overloaded with low quality slop long before AI was a factor. The point is there is quality AI work and the so-called slop. But you know that.

When Obama got elected in 2008, regardless of whether you liked Obama or not, or agreed with his politics, I thought that at that point, most people could see that this was not a racist country.

Most people. But not Trump. Because he knew that election was rigged. In fact, the country was racist against white people, especially John McCain. Then again, McCain was a loser who got captured.

Surprise, surprise.  Trump’s former AI and crypto czar doesn’t like NGOs, particularly when they point out that he’s a walking conflict of interest.

Billionaire tech elites like Sacks have a certain outlook on democracy...and it ain't democratic.

It’s not a racist country and Trump wasn’t a racist until he threatened the establishment. Modern American racism is *mostly* a construct of the progressive left who have made a cottage industry out of it.

Trump's not a racist, he's a victim of racism against whites.
