Guess what? We do not allow people to spend their money any way they want. For example; we can't legally buy cocaine or hire hit men. Our ability to purchase alcoholic beverages or view certain types of programs is severely restricted.

Also, wealth is not created in a vacuum. Business benefits from incorporation, national defense, law enforcement, public research, transportation, education, healthcare, etc.

The irony being that this is the crux of the GOP's thrust to end Government programs because you know, these things should be done voluntarily via charity. Which is basically the GOP saying that rather than pay taxes to assist programs like that for all children, if we do it with charity, we can funnel our donations solely to the demographics we approve of.
