It hasn't been amplified enough but eventually this guy is going to have to answer for it. People are struggling, and the problem he has is that McDonald's bottom line has been impacted by lower income people making new choices like "skipping breakfast".
People having to skip breakfast isn't a problem in and of itself. The problem is that he isn't getting that 8 bucks.
Correct. CEOs aren’t the enemy because they command a high compensation. That comp package is a drop in the bucket of their earnings and if he fucks up, he’s out and won’t ever hold a job like that again. He’ll be fine, of course, but he probably did something along the way to be the CEO of a giant corporation.
There are 2.15 million employees in the McDonald’s system. Fire the CEO, distribute his salary amongst those 2.15 million employees, and tell me how much difference that makes those employees.
