Conservatives are always focused on the wrong people. God forbid the CEO only make $8 million instead of $18 million. Surprised he’s only at $18 mil tbh. I’m guessing that’s a lowball total.

It hasn't been amplified enough but eventually this guy is going to have to answer for it. People are struggling, and the problem he has is that McDonald's bottom line has been impacted by lower income people making new choices like "skipping breakfast".

People having to skip breakfast isn't a problem in and of itself. The problem is that he isn't getting that 8 bucks.

Correct. CEOs aren’t the enemy because they command a high compensation. That comp package is a drop in the bucket of their earnings and if he fucks up, he’s out and won’t ever hold a job like that again. He’ll be fine, of course, but he probably did something along the way to be the CEO of a giant corporation.

There are 2.15 million employees in the McDonald’s system. Fire the CEO, distribute his salary amongst those 2.15 million employees, and tell me how much difference that makes those employees.

right. he's the enemy because he doesn't give a fuck about anyone, not just his employees. The company goes through machinations to save pennies by making their food shittier and shittier, and paying people hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to gauge just exactly how many extra pennies they can charge for a happy meal without losing the sale. Advertise to kids with stupid toys in the happy meal that makes the kid happy for a second but they end up at the doctor obese. Oh, the parents should navigate their kids food choices - newsflash we have a lot of undereducated gullible people in this country and they will get quickly addicted to crap, especially if all they can afford is soylent McNuggets.

Did you miss my post - the guy is unhappy that people can't afford to eat breakfast BECAUSE IT HURTS HIS PROFIT - not because of malnutrition and poverty.

5 months ago, Trump administration bans Nvidia from selling chips to China. Jensen being Jensen, Trump summons Jensen to DC, and Jensen convinces Trump to lift the ban.

Then China bans Chinese companies from buying the chips that they were banned from buying by the US a few months ago, and Speaker Johnson calls it an act of war.

The best part of this is that, as a condition of lifting the ban on sales of Nvidia chips to China, Trump negotiated a deal that the Government gets 15% of the sales of the chips.

Also, the baristas know exactly whose order it is and they will pull my mobile order in because I tip and will chat with them if they aren't too busy (I order it while walking over with the dog).
