No real difference except  this guy was a serial assaultist on public transportation. The kid's dad only shows up now so he can file some lawsuit against the guy who had to deal with the loser's  BS on the train. I don't see the yahoos from West Virginia, for example, just showing up so they can sue someone.

I’m gonna point out that article was written by a guy who was fatherless. Clearly has daddy issues, so I’m guessing everything is Daddy’s fault in his opinion.

I don't think it's useful to throw shade at a parent grieving their child.

The situation was FUBAR. The dead kid was a mess. The kid who killed him... - the situation could have been handled in a manner that didn't end up in a death. Shit happens. We try to make less of it happen.

As someone who actually rides public transportation, fuck these crazy and/or doped up assholes. If their parents won't do anything about them, what happens happens when they fuck with people just trying to get to work.

Normalizing lunatics and junkies on public transportation is one of the reasons a Trump won.

and to this point - you could extend this to say it doesn't matter if the cartels are providing fentanyl, we can't normalize high school kids who go to a party and pop pills and end up getting one laced with too much fentanyl and die, it's their parents fault.
Just because their parents are rich white people - they can still be useless parents who deserve to have their kid die. Nope. Good parents can have bad results, bad parents can have good results. We weep for dead kids. Period.

If they can't get it from the cartels, they end up breaking bad and figure out how to synthesize it themselves. I don't know how we get kids back on bud light and an occasional doobie, but stopping the availability of fentanyl is like saying if we all stay home for 3 months and wear masks, we can eradicate COVID).

The dude who got choked out was homeless, crazy and gooped up on goop. His mother was murdered by her boyfriend and stuffed into a suitcase. He was a serial harasser on public transportation. Dad was nowhere to be found until he sniffed a payday.
