I guarantee you Poles was “worried” about his medicals. He’d be a piss poor GM if he wasn’t.

You have guaranteed, promised, and assured something but still not acknowledged that you have zero evidence supporting your claim or the means to know at all.  Which you don’t.

It’s clear YOU are upset that he waited to do medicals at his visit, but my guess is Poles knew that would be the case long before the combine.  You’re projecting your own thoughts onto Poles

A competent GM is going to want the #1 pick in the draft’s medicals as soon as he can get them. It’s common sense. Doesn’t mean it’s a deal breaker.

I'm pretty certain that the number one overall pick in the draft is going to be fine on medicals. Sure, they obviously want them, but the chances of those medicals being bad are pretty fucking slim, don't you think?

And, even if they said something bad, when do you need them in order to determine that you're going in a different direction?

Of course he knew he would get them, it doesn’t mean he didn’t want them sooner. What if Caleb’s medicals came back with a problem and then Poles had 3 less weeks to adjust accordingly?

No corporate GM is going to happily sit around waiting several weeks on vital information that will determine the very direction of his company when it’s information he could have today. That is not the way these people operate, and thinking they do operate that way is height of naiveté.
