Back to David Woodley. There isn’t a single person alive (besides maybe his mom) that thinks David Woodley was a high-level starting quarterback because he had a stellar record as a starter.

Custard should move this to the Tempo Strawman Thread.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

First, there are plenty of mindless stats out there. Second, no one here has said that W-L is the end all of stats or completely on the QB. But we all know that it is out there. One example is Archie Manning. Had a terrible W-L record because he was on terrible teams. Acknowledged to be a great QB but he is not in the HOF is he?

It’s really nice of you to help me make my point. You’re good at this.

Who said W-L alone was determinative? No one. Except you, so you could argue against it.

W-L is not a overrated stat for qb's!

A lot fo the w-l is also decided by LEADERSHIP QUALITIES

QB'S who have great W-L records were all great LEADERS in the locker room.

top 5

New Orleans Saints Football.gif    2006–2020    142    86    0
5    ‡ Ben Roethlisberger[5]

ALL GREAT LEADERS!

I’m not sure Brett Favre or Ben Roethlisberger were the “best leaders.” Nor Aaron Rodgers. They were supremely talented and had sufficient help.

Jasn is rocketing his way up the leaderboard on best poster status.

It’s really nice of you to help me make my point. You’re good at this.

Archie Manning's W-L record and failure to play in the playoff game has probably kept him out of the HOF.

You’ve gone down that avenue pretty hard in the past.

Archie Manning's W-L record and failure to play in the playoff game has probably kept him out of the HOF.

Archie was talented, he just wasn’t great. I do believe that some quarterbacks can be ruined by a bad environment. Most can, I would think.

You’ve gone down that avenue pretty hard in the past.

I've mentioned a lot of "avenues" where JFC has been lacking his 2 years in the league.

PAMan wants people to believe he hasn’t strongly backed the “only wins and losses matter for a quarterback” narrative.

I've mentioned a lot of "avenues" where JFC AND THE CHICAGO BEARS AS A WHOLE has been lacking his 2 years in the league.

Fixed it for you.

He was a great QB playing for really bad teams. Was a Pro-Bowler when that actually meant something.

Chump edit: This is true.
