It was really a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. DMW had a solid junior year, shot lights out from 3, and guarded hard. 😬 He was not the same guy his senior year on the offensive end of the floor. So more of his minutes could have gone to Podz down the stretch when it was clear he was in a rut, but most coaches are going to go with the more experienced guy that isn’t a liability on D. And that’s where additional minutes for Podz would have come from, not Goode or RJM as some keep suggesting.
