I've been astounded of late seeing how a complacent majority of people can be so easily and willingly misled. Then once the lies they embraced are disproven, they still cling to them in the comfort of their unanimity.

Working backwards (and omitting presidential scandals), a few examples: The Ukraine war, the TikTok affair, the "Chinese are coming to get us!" baloney, the overt "we need the secret police to save us from disinformation because the 1st Amendment is evil" crusade, the congressional takedown of the railroad union, the all-but-forgotten Afghan war, the American sponsored genocidal war on Yemen (yawwwnnn", the constellation of multi-trillion $$ Covid scams, the bi-partisan engineered, never ending   border farce, TARP, the multi-trillion $$ 2009 bank bailouts, the Quantitative Easing multi-trillion wealth transfer, the now memory-holed health-care   cost insanity, the million dead bodies we heaped up in Iraq for absolutely nothing, the Patriot Act insanity, the S & L looting...ALL of these things were done to the citizens by direct, intentional government actions.

And we're all supposed to salute and say that Tucker is a liar, and that RFK Jr. is a kook. Because we all want the teacher to give us a gold star, and we want the oligarchs to like us.

Sheesh !
