Hey Custard, ThePassiveSon is in Nashville for the weekend. Currently heading down to  Preds-Canuck Game 6. Suggestions on where he should go pre- and post? More of a rap and rock guy instead of country....It is his buddy's birthday who lives down there.

Well, as much as I typically hate Broadway, the performers at Kid Rock’s bar do rap and rock and it’s always a raucous crowd. Would think the young guys would enjoy it even if they don’t know who Kid Rock is or are Dylan Mulvaney enthusiasts.

I do enjoy the rooftop environs on the strip on weeknights when the weather is nice and it isn't ridiculously crowded, but then again I’m approaching middle age. There will be a lot of good scenery if you know what I mean. 

The second and third floors of The Stage will have more of a rock vibe than country. Tin Roof and Bowie’s are rock oriented bars. I’d imagine his buddy knows some good places.

If they’re into craft beer in a really cool setting this place is neat:

If they want something a little less crowded than Broadway, Midtown is a lot of fun and is where more of the townies hang out. Exit/In and The End are rock bars.
