One thing that consistently makes me laugh about the trans bathroom controversy is this notion that they’re worried about predators pretending to be trans.

Let’s say the law changed so that everyone was required to use the bathroom of the sex they were assigned at birth and if you use the other one, straight to jail.  Isn’t it still possible for a predator to pretend they’re trans to get into the bathroom they want?  Even if they got their way, we’re back at the point where you have to pull up their skirt.

How do you figure? I’ve said multiple times I think biological men competing with women is unfair, but I’m not sure how I’d solve the dilemma. I hate to say, but I’d probably ban biological men from competing with women (in sports).

Pretty much where I stand.  I don’t think there’s an easy, obvious answer - but I don’t think ignoring biological differences between sexes is it probably.

I will say, I don’t know how you enforce that short of hormone testing all the JV girls basketball players etc. or, again, physically checking.  I doubt anyone really wants either of those things.

Also though as I said earlier - I have no doubt that red states will also fight not to allow AMAB trans girls to compete with the boys either, because for most people fighting that fight it’s more about bullying trans people than fairness in sports.
