Whatever hypnotherapy or sorcery they did to get this level of debate performance out of her is impressive. Also as Murph touched on, it seems they shifted strategy from trying to call out his lies to just having her lie and forcing him to react to those. Which was effective.

Really? I think Trump was actually a step down from Biden in July, but that's just me.

pretty simple strategy.

Tell the truth.
Touch on policy.
A few weepy anecdotes about women and blue collar people.
EVERY single time you get the mic, put in a trigger for Trump so he will spend 2 minutes hysterically distracted
Ignore what he says. No need to rebut small factual errors or gross stupidity. Stick to the script.

She was 95% perfect, at some point towards the end she insisted on going back to something about fracking.

The killer move was the question about inflation, she gave a generic answer about making people's lives better via this policy or that policy, then throwing another grenade a Trump so he parried that instead of sticking to inflation.

Went to the "A Complete Unknown" last evening.  It was well done and all the actors did their own singing.  Brought back many memories from the 60's.
Dylan goes electric, the Dead go acoustic, Johnny Cash was drinking, yep, dynamic times!
