WTF is wrong with Illinois today?

Drove across the state twice this week, on two different routes. Interstates are in terrible shape in many areas. Many instances of “construction zones” coned off with traffic slowdowns, but zero construction actually taking place. Gas prices 30-50 cents higher than neighboring states. Every public space reeks of weed. Fuuuuck. I didn’t realize how bad some things about Illinois truly suck until I left for awhile.

I think it's time for them to make things more efficient by making the counties self fund. It's time for Logan County to stop funneling money to Cook County.
