I think it’s pretty obvious whatever offers they may have gotten, it didn’t blow their socks off. That doesn’t necessarily mean there was no better deal to be had. And I can understand Poles not wanting to play Russian roulette as a new GM. And even tip my hat to them for sticking to their guns.

Listening to how Wright handled his workout, sounds like Poles really fell in love with him.

Just heard the last couple of minutes of an interview with Wright. Pretty enjoyable.

I’ve been probably the most pro Poles person here. I’m just not sure this was his best moment as GM. I’m not looking to “assign blame,” as much as just wondering if that really was the best we could do. Perhaps it was. But just because that’s what happened doesn’t mean that’s the unassailable truth. Unless we were in on the discussions were surmising.

You started talking about how you were disappointed within minutes.

Probably could have gotten him thrown in to the deal.

What about his Latin American counterpart, Juanny Futbol?

Go Bears!

I hope when Justin Fields is not doing squats, he is doing film work and working on his footwork. I hope he has no time to sleep.

Bears choose culture over talent. I’m good with the stand. I just hope they get more than the last pick in the 4th round next year for it.

Here was my first post. But let’s blow “I think they could have probably gotten more” out of context.

Darnell Wright.

Feels disappointing. But safe.

I think this is at least a mild endorsement of the pick. Yes. I feel like they got a 7.5 out of the pick. I was hoping for 9 or higher. My bad for having high hopes.

Wish the draft started earlier than 7.

Haha, when I bitched about the men's natty starting at 8:30, I had to listen to "I didn't take you for the pajamas by 7:30 crowd." lol

You got me there. But I’m just anxious, not ready for bed. Lol

They got the 10th pick in the draft in addition to the Eagle 4th.

When I endorse something, I usually discuss how disappointed I am by it for a full day or so.
