Anthony Black highlights

1.3 assist-to-TO ratio.
I am a former 5-star general. Or maybe it was 4-star.
Nichi claims a guard with a 1.3 assist-to-TO ratio is a good passer.

Scouting report on Black. He gets a little reckless at times, but looks better than anyone we have. I am wondering how well he and Smith fit together.

Looking for something current on Smith and Davis.

Given that Nichi keeps trying to build up Arkansas and the 5-star guard with the 1.3 assist-to-TO ratio, I feel more confident about Illinois' chances.

Hogs are a team I root for since my Grandfather attended the school and I like Muss as a coach (Watched him do great here at Nevada) and they are extremely talented but young.  Even more talented than we are and probably younger (haven't looked)

Seen them a few times this year and they completely dismantled UK at Rupp, was fun to watch to say the least.

I don't think we have much chance here on paper, HOWEVER Arkansas is not a great shooting team and are inconsistent, if they have an off night and we are on, obviously we should win.  We really need to bring the defensive intensity we saw at times this year for a whole 40 minutes

Clearly Muss was the secret sauce for Nevada.

Arkansas is the version of Illinois with true guards instead of stretch 4s. As my SEC contact told me, they could beat anyone and lose to anyone. So I like our chances but we have to be forcing turnovers and using our size advantage on offense.

I have very little expectation of Underwood out coaching Musselman, so we’d better play lights out if we’re gonna win.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Need a big game from either Shannon or Mayer.

I feel like Shannon is going to light up these overrated opponents today.

I'd like to see how Nichi's 5-star player does, but I'll be at work, so I'll have to watch the recording later. I do have the old, dusty antenna radio in the car, though.

All- American Ayo had 3.3 turnovers per game.

Ayo's assist to turnover ratio as a freshman was 1.43. As a soph he regressed to 1.23. He improved to 1.58 as a senior.

Black is a talented passer. He has good hands. His height helps him see over the defense. He can advance the ball with the long pass. He can thread the needle in the half court. He can throw an accurate skip pass. Etc.

We all know turnovers can happen for a few reasons. Sometimes the cutter cuts the wrong direction. Black tends to try the high risk crowd pleasing fancy passes. He'll also get a little reckless and drive into trouble.

Let's hope he throws the ball away and created some transition offense for us today.
