UCLA ends with 6 losses. Four of those came in T-Mobile Arena. Not a paradise for them apparently.

Heck of a game. Hated the outcome. Couldn't believe how they went cold in 2nd half until the last 2 minutes. Jaquez is such a tough kid, the Illini could use a few like him. Been a UCLA fan since 1967, 1st time I saw them was when they played the Illini in Chicago Stadium, led by Lew Alcindor. Only time I am OK with them losing is to the Illini.
Guess I'll root for Gonzaga the rest of the way.

Amazing game, Jaime J...is a baller, this kid will do some NBA team proud to get him. Tyger was unstoppable, but man Cronin, wrong game plan on Timme....damn he should have gotten 50 last night.

Tyger another tough kid. How did xxxx let him get out of that state, being from Cedar Rapids? Yeah,  Cronin didn't have a good plan to stop Timme but their best defensive center couldn't play.
Still can't believe Few set up a 30 foot shot to win.

Being a follower of UCLA for over 50 years, I was surprised when they hired Cronin. The slow, slugfest type of ball played at Cincy didn't seem to be a good match for UCLA. But been proven wrong.

What did Cronin say? Tried, unsuccessfully, to go to sleep after the game. I should have just stayed up and watched SportCenter.

Cronin coached well and got beat by a solid and well coached team.

It's actually a shame that we can't have a west coast conference that's the old Pac-10 plus 4-6 schools like Gonzaga and SD St. that make sense as opposed to Colorado. Just the dumbest money grabbing.

When asked about UCLA's scoring drought in the second half:

"Wide open shots, and multiple times we got fouled, no call ... and Jaime (Jaquez) got murdered on about four layups."

The final foul count in the game? UCLA 15, Gonzaga 15.

The final free throw tally? UCLA 16, Gonzaga 17

Tough loss for UCLA, but Cronin's comments don't ring true. Watch the video above for his full press conference.

Skeptical that Gonzaga and SD State are true "P5" schools in the wider, even beyond sports, sense.
