To quantify just how insane this loss is

Purdue just lost to a team that (stole this from reddit)

- Was not ranked Above 300 in Kenpom the whole year

- Didn't win their conference tournament

- Didn't win their conference regular season title either

- is in the NEC which ranks 32/32 for D1 conferences in the country in kenpom

- Went 4-22 Last year

- A first year coach that transitioned from D2

- Average height of players is 6'1"

- Ranked 359 in Defense in Kenpom

EDIT: They got into the tournament because they made it to their Conference finals as their opponent (Merrimack) was not eligible to make the NCAAT because of the 4 year transition period rule. They also finished Runner-up in their conference during the regular season.

Money line was -5000 for Purdue hahaha

God damn, what a horrible loss. Lol

I'll say this for Illinois, we've been #1 seed 4 times, and each time there was zero struggle in the first round

Yeah.  Purdue was the best team in the Big 10.  And they will be again next year.

You are a dumber than Tempo, which is tough thing to do. F"ing Hilarious.

Actually the very same FDU team gave us a fit in 05 as a 16 seed.  Game Was tied at the half and we ending up winning by a dozen. Pulled away very late.

I said Ty Rodgers wasn’t a Big 10 player.  He wasn’t.
Lmao. God forbid he enter the transfer portal but if he did Rodgers would have 7 B1G offers within a week.

For the end of the bench maybe or on a bad Big 10 team.   If Ty Rodgers is one of your key players, your team is going to suck. Rodgers belongs in the MAC or a lower level where he can be a small ball 3/4 and his lack of shooting/height won’t hurt him.

It’s like arguing Minnesota’s players are Big 10 caliber bc they are on the team.   They aren’t.
