I don't doubt that. I've never had it down there, and hope I never do.
The last couple of times I had it, I had to get steroid pills and steroid cream to get rid of the shit. And I still had it for like a month.
And, I didn't even get ripped from the steroids either...
The stuff also nukes me very bad. Out here we have Poison Oak, which is super prolific on hiking trails in the hills, which the dog of course likes to try to roll around in. One time I had to take the Prednisone which messed me up as well.
Since that awful episode where both arms basically looked like Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly", I discovered this stuff called "Zanfel". You have to figure out *right away* that you have the dreaded Oak/Ivy and use that stuff heavily, as directed. It actually works pretty well to stop it in its tracks, but if you don't get it as soon as it starts, the stuff gets deep enough into the skin that it takes forever and you probably have to go on the steroids.
