Merge, is so much prettier than hostile takeover.  The medieval kingdom seeks legitimacy through international sports.

I wonder if they'll introduce a capital punishment element to the game.

When LIV first started I used to say on Twitter they should celebrate each winner with the beheading of a gay person or a journalist.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Including your favorite “morally correct” golfers 😂  whom you root for and support. Get off your high horse.

Or the tv viewers and corporate sponsors.

Nothing like a little Realpolitik to smack you right upside the head.

I don’t know if career suicide is a smart protest move. A new league could work…if Tiger were spearheading it. That’s about the only path that would have.

It’s not apples to apples. It’s barely oranges to apples.

Everyone with a brain knows this. It’s got next to nothing to do with the PGA Tour.

Golfers are not principled? Weren't a few of them vocal about being against the Saudi money?

Just about everyone I know of was careful to walk the line and keep it mostly about loyalty to the Tour that gave them so much opportunity. I don’t think Rory even ventured into “blood money” territory. But Brandel Chamblee and Eamon Lynch did. But they are tv personalities and journalists.

September 11th was raised by the PGA Tour head, right, yet you said it would be career suicide to boycott.

As Judge Judy intimated, sounding like you agree that money talks and BS walks.

Wait, slow down. I think you just implied things I didn’t say.

Monahan is clearly a hypocrite and negotiated the deal. I’m not sure he counts. And the closest he said anything about blood money or Khashoggi (that I’m aware of) was “Have you ever had to be ashamed to be a PGA Tour player?”

In this case, of course the money won out. Who’s denying that?

Ok. Where did I misspeak?
