The police report was obviously falsified. Video evidence gives no indication an officer was “dragged” for any length of time, let alone 30 feet.

I just think that people shouldn’t be charged with felonies for making left turns when it’s pretty clear the situation was likely confusing and the arrest report was clearly wildly fabricated.

6 or 7 years ago I was confused on what a police officer was telling me to do on marathon day and made a turn that displeased them. Glad I wasn’t shot at or handed a felony charge. I was yelled at, though. Which is appropriate enough. A felony charge would have seemed a bit excessive.

PAMan wants Scheffler charged because he’s a southern Christian man who is probably conservative (a Trumper as he’s called him). I wouldn’t know for sure, I can’t recall ever hearing Scottie talk about politics and I follow the PGA Tour very closely.

I’d bet good money that the arresting cop who clearly lied on the police report, and didn’t have his body cam on like he’s supposed to is a much more fervent Trump supporter than Scottie Scheffler is.

There’s a reason the LMPD dropped the charges with the agreement no further action would be taken by either side…you’d think a lawyer would pick up on that.
