Great game. He’s been really into maps and flags lately. I distinctly remember it helping me learn basic geography when I was a kid. I got it for him as a Christmas gift. The game is a little advanced for him (turned 8 in November), but I like to challenge his brain. We’ve played a couple of times, he’s starting to understand strategy. Just wish it didn’t take so long to complete a game. Lol

It probably wouldn't take as long if you kept your sockpuppets out of the game.
I am a former 5-star general. Or maybe it was 4-star.
Nichi claims a guard with a 1.3 assist-to-TO ratio is a good passer.

Yeah, I don’t see the big deal. If someone commits a hard foul in a blowout, that’s different. But I’m not going to rail on someone for pressing with a minute left.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

drivel

Rodgers had another nice game. 8 rebounds in 15 minutes. Solid defensive effort. Had a couple buckets and a nice assist.

I now have ESPN. Can't comment on the Missouri game. Didn't have ESPN. Don't know the situation. Did Missouri run down the clock and take a turnover? Did Illinois then shoot a 3?

It was not so much the pointless press with a minute left.

Illinois had just ran the clock down to 6 seconds. Took a turnover rather than trying to score. tOSU then shoots a three pointer to cut the lead to 9 points.

If you are going to call me a liar, there is no point in further discussion. I do not pretend to not watch games. A conversation with you is like talking to a 9 year old.

What annoyed me more was shooting the three after Illinois ran the clock down to 6 seconds and took a turnover instead of trying to score. That was right after Hummel commented on Illinois finally beating Ohio State by double digits. oops.

Pressing down 14 with a minute to go just struck me as pointless, but I only commented in context of that last shot.

Neither is any way the equivalent of simply trying to score down 25 with 2 minutes left. Nobody stops playing with 2 minutes left. Dom's comparison was complete drivel.

Upon further review, Holtmann is still kind of a punk, but he was maybe playing it smart. I am told margins of victory and defeat matter.

Maybe Uberwood was being smart too. By having his team run down the shot clock and take the turnover, he prevented them from jacking up a couple more stupid threes.

I still feel cheated out of a double digit victory. That game felt like a 25 point beat down.

Squeaky said Rodgers sucks and isnt Big 10 caliber.  The idiot also said that Harris is better than Rodgers and has more upside although a couple years order.

Harris has a LONG way to go on his shot. For how advanced he is on defense, he’s equally behind with that. It is probably one of the most ugly shots I’ve seen and the same with his FT’s.
Because FOX News told me so…

That game felt like a 25 point beat down.

No, that was Mizzou beating Illinois. Mizzou was up 35 points in the 2nd half.   That’s what a 25 point beatdown actually feels like, bc it actually happened.

And in that game, Terence Shannon was on the court for the entire game.

So claiming another coach should quit trying in a 14 point game, when Underwood had his best players on the court (HIS STARTERS) in the game, with under a minute to go, with Mizzou up 92-68 is absolutely assinine

Underwood did the exact same thing vs Mizzou when he was down 30 for most of the 2nd half.

In fact, Terence Shannon was hoisting shots with under 2 minutes left to go in that game.  Down 92-68 with 1:30 to go.  Never left the floor. Was still on the floor till the end.  Check the play by play.  I know you claimed to have missed the game.

Name another coach that would have their best player on the court, under 1 minute to play, and down 25 points?

In other words nichi, shut the fuck up.  You are running your mouth with pissant homer talk.

Again, this is what a messageboard beat down looks like.

Some idiot runs his mouth about an opposing coach. And I show, said idiot, that the coach he loves wouldn’t even take out his starters with a minute to go down 25.

Your welcome.

Nichi take the loss and hit the road till the next game Illinois had a chance to win. That won’t be this weekend.

Didn't see the game, so I can't really comment on context.

I did look at the box score. Terrence Shannon played 37 minutes. Kobe Brown played 37 minutes.

I looked at the play by play. Missouri clearly didn't run down the shot clock and take a turnover with seconds remaining.  It appears both teams kept playing with rotation players until time expired.

He doesn't need to watch them. He looks at stats. He said Jacob Grandison is a better basketball player than Matthew Mayer, based on shooting percentage.

Or he looks at some high school video sans context.
