Back story. Our third year freshman center was born in Chicago, but played high school ball somewhere in the land of 10K lakes / L'Étoile du Nord.

Dawson Garcia, who almost transferred here from Marquette, scored 28 points in Minny's road win at tOSU. I wonder if he got to keep the NIL money UNC offered?

They have an elite player in Garcia, plus a pretty good guard (Cooper) and a couple tough big bodies (Battle and Payne). Hopefully Carrington does not have a career night.
