We are in a new era. End of last season and beginning of the next can look totally different.

Once this roster was settled I expected top 12-15 with national title potential.

Once they got Shannon. I've expected a tournament team that will get bounced early, even though Underwood has two guys that are second pick NBA picks.

I can't see Underwood making a deep tourney run, unless he has a lot more talent.

Dom wants us to look at the Missouri, PSU, and NU games when there was clearly something going on. Whatever it was, it appears to have been fixed. Mayer and Shannon both credit Underwood.

Dom also points to Clark's videos when he came back too soon for Monteverde and was not fully recovered. That makes as much sense as looking at pre-injury videos and claiming he has NBA athleticism.

It's called cherry picking.

Nothing was going on. Illinois is just a bad team that’s poorly coached. They been that way the whole season.

They’ve played shit fucking teams since then:

Wisconsin sucks without their best player.  They haven’t won a game without him.

Who gives 2 shits about Nebraska and Minnesota? Those are the worst teams in the conference.

That basically followed the script of the rest of the games Illinois has played vs comparable competition:  be behind big in the 2nd half and require a comeback to win (UCLA, Texas, Maryland, Penn State, Mizzou, Northwestern, Virginia)

When Illinois starts playing better than dog shit teams, they’ll lose bc they suck.

MSU was good enough to have a 9 point lead on us.

You talk about massive homer jobs yet conveniently leave out the string of calls MSU got after Izzo did his usual bitching and moaning to the refs. It was bad on both sides.
