I hope he’s there and stays with the program. I think he’d be fine if he just got an extra 3-5 minutes a game.

Have to say, this is pretty pathetic if an NU game is concerning enough that people are worried because it is a "must win."

I think the Illini are going to get better as 2023 rolls along and make the March Tourney That Counts.

I agree, they usually do under Underwood, but damn 0-3 in conference. Yikes.

NW shooting last 2 home games:

Vs Brown 34% (4/21 on 3s)
Vs Ohio State 28% (9/31 on 3s)

NW is due to regress to the mean and blow the doors off Illinois.  The last team NW played that was as poorly coached as Illinois was DePaul, and they won that game 83-45.  This game should not be close either.  Underwood’s AAU ball isn’t gonna work here.

Yeah, that's not how "regress to the mean" works. In fact, given that NW already had a game this season where it shot something like 8 percent on 3s, their version of "regress to the mean" would likely be the opposite of what you wrote.

Depaul's entire starting line-up was suspended for the N'Western game I don't know if I would take any value from that game. ::)
