I’m the only person that understands basketball here.

Before the season I said:

Skyy Clark is too slow to play PG at the high D1 level.  That was right.

Ty Rodgers was not a High D1 player. That was right.

Mayer would suck. Which if you watch him play, he does.  He kills all ball movement.

Illinois was down by 35 vs Mizzou, and 20+ vs Penn State.  Gives up an 18-2 run to Alabama AM. It stinks. Just take the Loss.  The defense sucks, there’s no movement, nothing ran on offense. Underwood is brain dead.  What coach would ever position Coleman Hawkins to dribble vs a press?

It’s just a team of random pieces that don’t compliment each other running park ball.

Teams running into a 3 game slump happens all the time, but it's how and if they come out of it that matters.
It looks like these guys are trying to learn to play a game that they haven't played before.
They have, for years. It's time to get back to some basic hoops.

Underwood, has to feel defeated and he should, he has got to figure out a way to get this team to play up to its potential.

Harris is the future, kid gets it everytime he hits the floor.

Skyy and TSJ are full of themselves for different reasons, results are the same, overhyped, play overall is not equal to the hype. TSJ has the talent and Alpha Dog in him, problem is he can't get his "pack" to follow/buyin.

Hawkins has been soft since he got here, kid just is not a dominant player, can't be, not the personality.

Epps is a pure talent that needs more time on the court....him and Harris together might be really good?

Mayer is stagnant, looks as if he doesn't fit with team (many don't right now), and probably now is our most consistant player....BIG problem.

Dain, well hell, can't jump, tries to many reverse fancy layups, hands of stone it seems on rebounds....

Foreign kid may have joined to get an early read on Hawkins departure?

How many years can Whitman allow Underwood to miss the Sweet 16? 

There isn't a Ayo or Kofi on the roster or incoming next year, so can't see a Sweet 16 any time soon.
