It wasn’t even noticeable either. I mean, I watched it occasionally but it didn’t seem to make things awkward. Kept the flow going nicely. The game was played in a good rhythm.

Not necessarily, because these have been existing problems with the current roster for a couple years. If the Sox had a roster that was 80% new, you’d have a point.

I will admit I was wrong on this one after Day 1. I thought it would take time for teams to adjust to SBs with the larger bases after not focusing on the SB for however many years due to analytics. Looking like clubs may have focused on SB technique in spring training?

Will be interesting to see how DPs play out with the larger bases. Larger bases make it easier for the 2B/SS to get to and hold the bag now.
