I think a win out of conference on a national stage like this is maybe bigger achievement.
This was like an EE type match up and should resonate all season now in terms of confidence and on Selection Sunday.

But that is just my opinion. In any event it was a damn good win.

I rewatched the game. Crazy how we pulled out a win. 16-2 run,  Hawkins time out, down 68-63 with 45 seconds left, etc. Then when Hawkins fouled the 3 point shooter from behind in OT - I thought we were going to blow it.

Mayer in the fist half, and Shannon in OT were the difference makers. Great fucking win even though I was cussing at the TV for most of the game

We were down 56-46 with 8 minutes to go and had scored 9 points in second half.

Outscored them 39-22 rest of the way.  :o

We will not ever be pretty, and you need to take the errors of commission as part of the approach, but we will keep coming at you.
It is sort of a war of attrition out there. Their whole team was cramping, and we were in their grill and quicker at end.

I do wish we would run more two man action on offense. It forces the defense to react more.
Although Clark is more natural point guard and better passer, Epps is aggressive mindset scorer and penetrates easier and that creates more for us.
Going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

He seems to be gaining in confidence as a starter and his shooting has picked up.
He is legitimate 3 ball threat and long plus athlete. Should only get better.

He was considered a likely breakout star in the B1G (and nationally) so you shouldn’t be surprised

Underwood said we're gritty, not pretty.
As in football, it's so nice to see teams that will play to the final buzzer/horn.
