The halfcourt offense needs work for sure. We stand around a lot, pass around the perimeter 28 feet from the hole, and allow one guy to cover two a lot.
Nobody even faces the basket sometimes.
Had better spacing and attacking in last 8 minutes and regulation. 

To be fair, Texas is a balls to the walls defensive team. But that is what you face in S16 and EE if you get that far.

I dunno about Robb. I liked him a lot. Pretty bright funny guy.

He did do a lot of dumpster diving. Maybe was in there drunk at 3 AM looking for dinner, passed out, and was taken away at 6AM and shoved in an industrial compactor.

How much of this was due to Epps ?
Wasn't he running offense the whole time ? Our team ball handling also seemed much better.

Great win last night.  Agree it was like playing a SS or EE tourney game.
Even though TX is probably a top 10 defensive team, we had too many unnecessary turnovers.
Clark looks rusty to me.  Hopefully, he comes around to more of his hype.
Epps is a player.  Holing FTs with game on the line is hard to teach.
Mayer has settled in and will be more consistent going forward.  He can be another leader.
Looking forward to conference play.

Only two TOs in last 10 minutes of regulation and OT. Yeah- we looked better with Epps out there as it gave us another scorer when we were struggling.

Epps did a good job of putting some pressure on the defense by looking to score. Clark doesn't look for his shot as much or try and penetrate. He looks a little unsure right now. I guess he was a big scorer in HS and is trying to be a distributor first.
He needs to just ball.

Great hesitation dribble, a good floater, changes speeds really well, can find a crease and get in the lane and get his shot off.  He is averaging 10 ppg and 8 shots per game in just 23 mpg and despite Dumbfcknik saying he would never be able to get his 3 point shot off at this level is shooting 38% and has hit 15 threes already.
He uses a rhythm dip on his 3ball and it is more of a one motion shot as opposed to his mid range jump shot. Watch the NBA and you will see a lot of the really good 3 ball guys dip the ball. Kid is a baller and instinctive. Clark is thinking a little too much right now. And has had TO issues the last two games.  Needs to just play.

Well I don't know anything about the rhythm dip, but Epps appeared to find a crease easily and handle the ball doing it. Everyone else looked more comfortable when he was running the show.
Even if it didn't result in a turnover, Clark looked to be having ball handling problems. Playing point as a freshman against quality teams don't always come easy.
Nonetheless, games against Va, Md and Tx defenses will help us down the road.
