That’s a far cry from believing the virus was a hoax. The long lasting negative effects of the shutdown are very well documented and it’s not at all clear how much it actually helped. I was espousing the basic tenets of the Great Barrington before that was even a thing. We locked down, but still failed to protect those who were at the greatest risk, even in deep blue states. And here I am derailing a thread in the wrong forum.

Agree. I’ve been saying for a long time that Epps was the most polished and also underrated player in this class. That’s not looking like too bad of a take right now.

Not sure what to make of this team. I definitely like the direction we are headed from a roster construction and style of play standpoint. We have good players and a good staff. But just can’t shake the feeling this complete makeover is going to be more painful that we’d like to admit.

So many talented new guys and young guys without much experience, the token pressure is not my cup of tea, I don’t really like Hawkins having a bright green light to shoot threes early in possessions, Mayer just looks like a guy against low level competition, Goode is out indefinitely, etc. Of course they could just be trialing some of this stuff early on and seeing how it goes.

We definitely have elite hair game tho
