I haven't voted yet, but I'm seriously thinking about writing in Phil McCracken or even the Sweet Meteor of Death.

I just wish there was someone worth voting for.  I pretty much can't stand any politician, regardless of party.

If I was going to write in Fields for governor, I might put it in a football thread too.

Sweet Meteor of Death sounds like something I could get behind.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Truth be told, would probably be better than than choices on the ballot.

I mostly went to vote for my buddy who was on the ballot for county Sheriff. So disgusted with Sleepy Joe’s administration/Dem messaging disaster that I *almost* voted a straight party ticket “against my best interests” 🤣

I looked at some major news pages earlier today for shits and grins. Look at this fear/outrage mongering from the front page of MSNBC:

Toilets and offshore trusts to avoid taxes while paying millions to try and raise taxes on everyone else.

"Pritzker campaigned to amend the 1970 charter to allow a progressive rate. He contended that anyone making less than $250,000 — 97% of taxpayers — would pay the current rate or less. Those with incomes over $250,000 would pay higher incremental rates, topping out at 7.99%.Nov 5, 2020"

Walker makes about as much sense as Sleepy Joe Biden.

We have already been through this Nichi...add in property taxes, which are now going up in Cook County to allegedly buy land for the forest preserve (yeah, right), and get back to me.

You can move to Florida. I heard there are some cheap condos in Fort Meyers, and DeSantis will give you a property tax holiday!

Yes, everyone pays property taxes even if it is passed through rent.
