One thing I haven’t been able to figure out. Was Miller simply delivering the gun? Or did he have any reason to believe Miles intended to use it?
Attorneys and school are already on record as stating that he did not know either it was to be used or used in a crime. This is why and the fact he didn't actually handle the weapon that no charges will come out of this. Even if they did, Class A Misdemeanor would be the extent and even that is a stretch for unlawful possession.
My guess is he gets drafted Top 5 and life goes on except for that family of the deceased...it is sad to say the least, but Texas law has no ground.
