Edey has clearly improved his game over 3 seasons in not fouling.

In the per 40 min stats

2020-21: 6.2 fouls
2021-22: 4.2 fouls
2022-23: 1.9 fouls

There’s no reason for him to ever get defensive fouls standing 7’4. Just stay in the lane and keep your hands up. Don’t reach and don’t venture out of the paint where a guy can dribble into you

If anything I see guys guarding him on offense trying to flop.  The refs ain’t protecting him though. He’s not Shaq.  Purdue isn’t the LA Lakers.

They got it all and college basketball is very weak in individual dominant players that could beat them.

Not protecting him. Wow! No fouls against MSU. This could easily have been called a hook and hold flagrant 2. Instead it was somehow a foul on Sissoko.

Purdue barely beat a cold shooting MD team today and PU was at home. They are going to get blasted in the NCAA. The only question is whether Edey gets ejected or fouls out.

I only glanced at the latest poll, but Gonzaga was down to 14th. Kansas St., still benefiting from the tutelage of Bruce Weber, is up to 5th.

On the women's side, the Big Ten has six teams in the top 10. If this were the SEC, ESPN would be VJOMing.
