Temp0, who does COK play next? I have to think ESPN is disturbed by COK's decline, but now they can play up the other SEC schools.

I wonder if Kelvin Sampson was unhappy and had to call someone after the game? Get it? Sampson -- phone calls? Hahahaha!

Also, back when Indiana was looking for a coach, the AD called up a bunch of the older, redneck, boys' club, quasi-KKK high school coaches in the state to ask who to hire. One of them said: "You gotta hire Sampson!"

So the AD made the move. After it's announced, the redneck, quasi-KKK coach calls the office. "You idiot! Why did you do that?"

"You told me to!"

"No, I didn't. I told you to hire Sam's son. Steve, the son of Sam Alford!"

That is way off. You don't have a clue. Loren grew up in ECI during the 30s and 40s. His Illini knowledge begins before the Whiz Kids. Combes's starts roughly 20 years later. Loren has a daughter who is likely about Combes's age.

I first met Loren "Sonny" Tate when I was a kid. I probably know Combes too.
