While one may not believe in a deity there’s a lot of empirical evidence praying is really healthy for the people who do it. Similar to meditating.

Meditation is a tool one uses to help give oneselves the ability to improve and go fix problems

Praying is a tool one uses when one just hopes that some magic or luck will fix things.

Me neither. Although my preferred “motorboating it like I’m at the Silver Slipper” cinnamon roll eating technique would render me unsuitable for appearing on television in the immediate future.
