Coreweave down 33% this week. Their debt trading at 80 cents on the dollar. SpaceX debt selling at 85 cents on the dollar. Amazon cash flow negative. Nvidia relies on these three companies for their entire business model.

Oh but the market's P/E is historically pretty low! Except that OpenAI and Anthropic are valued at 3.5 Trillion - more than entire value of the Nasdaq 100 at the dot com peak - but they aren't public. If they were public, the market P/E would be at an historical high.

Well put, but assumes that the left cares in the slightest about prosperity, or even bringing people out of poverty. I used to make really great arguments for Milton Friedman style economics to my friends on the left. Now I save myself the trouble by just giving the cat a bath.

They aren't investing their own money. They are investing YOUR money. All that money you have stashed away in various places has been lent to these "entrepreneurs" who are lighting it on fire. And even if you say "oh but I don't have a pension, and my money is in my house". If they collapse the market, your house value craters too. As we saw in 2008, they allocate it badly, they lose nothing.

It’s funny how PAMan seems to avoid literally ALL of the traps of “donating” to Republicans. None of the products in his house are sold by companies that give to conservatives. It’s amazing. I’ll bet even the money he spends on pro sports somehow evades the Trump supporting owners.
