Hmmm…I guess that explains why the Evanston City Council declined to pass a 2024 resolution calling for a cease-fire in Gaza: it faced considerable opposition.

So there are sane people in Evanston?  I thought they were all DSA/Hamas supporters.  And believe me those folks vote.

Interestingly, supporters could not persuade a single city council member to introduce the resolution.
