If “he just didn’t appeal to Dems” he wouldn’t have been considered the heavy favorite at ANY point. IIRC he was like an 89% favorite to win the nomination after around Nevada. It wasn’t until the Dems redrew the lines on the field and changed the players that Biden took control of the game. C’mon, take your freaking blinders off.
