fwig, this Maine oyster farmer and Marine vet  got a fairly common skull and crossbones tat. He found out is associated with a Nazi symbol. After initially finding that to be ridiculous, he had it covered. Should be end of story. The far left won't let it go..

Hegseth has multiple tattoos associated with Christian Nationalism. They got him in trouble in the past. The Trump.admin has no problem with them. Hegseth defends them.

Platner's 'skull and cross-bones tattoo' was so innocuous that he wore it for 18 years.
He had it covered, in one sitting, within hours of it becoming public knowledge.
His haircut is fine. He should shave but leave a little patch under his nose.

Tell me where I am wrong. The Maine Oyster farmer had a very common tattoo that can be misinterpreted as a Nazi symbol..the liberal thought police objected. After initially expressing frustration, he got rid of it..in the process, he used the r word, further offending the far left. Apparently, he also told some redneck jokes and hurt their feelings?  Heaven forbid.

What are his policy positions? Does anyone know?

But he didn't get rid of the tattoo when the public found out who he is. He had it covered up in 1 quick session within hours of getting exposed.

Removal would have taken several sessions. It was a coverup.

You're going to skip over his use of the r word before his tattoo coverup ?

Platner covered his tattoo up in Oct.
Several months later, when discussing the coverup, he used the r word.
Several months later he apologized for using the r word several months earlier.

Back with Skull.& Bones was a story -- John Kerry & George W Bush were both members --, nobody was connecting the Skull.& Crossbones image specifically with Nazis. It was connected with Pirates --  the jolly roger flag.

Also as a memento mori on tombstones.

Also, as a hazard symbol, usually in regard to poisonous substances, such as deadly chemicals.

Right. As soon as he found out it could be misinterpreted, he had it covered up. Well, first he pointed out the objections were intellectually impaired. Then he did what Democrats usually do. Now it's a non issue and we can move on to the r word..
