Sweet. Someone in the Autopen administration, we don't know who was acting as POTUS at any given moment, decided an alleged Iranian sniper was good for a K-1 visa.

"On June 22, ICE Atlanta arrested Ribvar Karimi in Locust, Alabama. Karimi reportedly served as an Iranian Army sniper from 2018 to 2021 and at the time of his arrest, in his possession, he had an Islamic Republic of Iran Army identification card. He entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa, which is reserved for aliens engaged to be married to American citizens, in October 2024 under the Biden administration. Karimi never adjusted his status — a legal requirement — and is removable from the United States. He’s currently in ICE custody, where he’ll remain pending removal proceedings."

And for the 'they're ripping people off the streets' crowd, if the alleged Iranian sniper is being detained on an immigration warrant an immigration warrant does not allow for authorities to enter his residence to detain him. Following the laws that Congress enacted requires him to be 'ripped off the streets.'

And for the 'he's not a criminal and he's being denied due process' crowd, he won't be facing a criminal judge to adjudicate his removal

The Minneapolis Star Tribune changed its name to the Minnesota Star Tribune probably thinking/hoping they could fool the state into thinking the paper was impartial/slightly left instead of catering to just the Minneapolis/St Paul libs.
