If Democrats, Republicans and the courts worked together, the price gouging could be stopped.

Corporate profits are at record highs; which is why some prices never came down.

Maybe people should stop eating junk fast food and stop drinking sugary beverages.

A lot of places are bumping up prices to drive people onto their apps.  The prices through the apps, especially the weekly specials and digital coupons, just happen to be the same prices things cost before COVID.  And their price labels throughout the store highlight the app prices.   

It’s different from the past when the coupons in the Sunday paper allowed people to go to any store.   I remember shopping at 3 or more stores during the week looking for deals.  Now you have to clip the coupons on the app, look for their sales and then go only to that store.  It seems to be a new business model to create more customer loyalty. 

I’ve also noticed people moving to online shopping like Amazon for dry goods.  My neighbors tell me it’s absolutely crazy the deals you can find if you pay attention.  They got six boxes of Lipton’s Cold Brew for $13.  They told me a single box is going for like $6-$7 at the store.  I guess I better get with the program.

Ironically, exacerbating wealth inequality because people with more money are more able to access said deals. How's the "unhoused person" gonna order that sweet Lipton's Cold Brew when the cops are moving his tent daily?

I don't think we're not talking about homeless or unhoused people here.  Thats a whole new can of worms.  We're talking about lower-income and some middle- income households that may be struggling to purchase everyday essentials.
