That article is poorly written, and hyperbolic, the real story should be about "school board elections get no attention until someone with some weird ass agenda figures out how to work the election to hijack the board, and then you have to deal with the nuts until you can recall them, get them to resign, or have to wait until the next election".

As much as it is Boaler, it's the Board members who subscribed to the wacky theory who then enabled this BS. The proper way to handle math is to identify kids - of ANY demographic background - who should be accelerated, and do so. Kids who are in the wrong math class either fail because they can't handle it, or fail because they are bored (and act out and disrupt the entire class). As much as Tiger Moms worldwide think that pushing their kids will make them Good Will Hunting - Will Hunting could "just play". There is definitely an advantage to having a nuturing environment - but tracking back kids because there is a difference in environment does nobody any good - especially bright kids who don't have a nuturing environment at home (regardless of color).

So these dummies got kicked out. Bridget Ziegler is still on a school board.

This all goes to what is wrong with the left. Progressive moon bats. They occasionally grab some power, screw things up, and get kicked out. Mostly though, they are about symbolic gestures rather than substantive action. Other than whining too much; moonbats are generally nice people, if condescendingly so.

San Francisco went 85% Biden, 85% Newsom, 85% Padilla, 83% Pelosi.

It then recalled these wack jobs, easily. A DA with some pretty atypical policies - recalled.

School board elections only get noticed when the incumben board goes off the rails. Then we forget, and people go back to voting for random people or leaving it blank. When that happens, a little money towards mailers or window signs along with a few percent of people coalescing on their agenda can take it over.

This level of "progressive moonbats" represent like 5% of the population, tops. A smaller percent than the J6 style MAGAs
