Inflation sucks. Large avocados 69 cents each. Jumbo navel oranges 99 cents a pound. 10 oz Angus NY strips $5.95 ea with coupon. 3 cases of water $9.00.

Nichi is eating good tonight! Meanwhile it’s been over 30 years since this much of a family’s budget has been ate up by food purchases.

I still remember how up in arms all the NIMBY open border folks were when Texas started sending these people to their sanctuary cities instead of Texas having to deal with it on their own. It wasn’t because it was cruel and inhumane like they claimed.

I believe I called it one of the best political maneuvers I could recall seeing in my adult lifetime here. You could tell by all the squealing that it hit em where it hurt.

Over thirty years? You mean the G. H. W. Bush recession, before the Clinton prosperity? That might be a good sign.

It's anecdotal evidence, but I am seeing the cost of basic items either stay the same or decline.

"The Kankakee County Sheriff's Office said they discovered 30 to 40 people walking along the side of the highway wrapped in blankets around 7:30 a.m.

After talking with the people, officers determined they were Venezuelan migrants were dropped off at a gas station at 4:30 a.m.by a bus that came from El Paso, Texas.

The migrants had no money or food, police said."
