We should probably pass a bipartisan immigration bill so we can handle a crisis.

Too bad that so many Latin American countries are shit holes and our policies contributed.

Maybe in some cases but it’s pretty clear black on black crime is underreported, and, per your own data, is a pretty big problem. It’s another one of those “We don’t talk about that” things, but when someone does want to talk about it, the response is always the same.

Just because you’ve made everything in your world a “whataboutism” and project that into everything you opine on doesn’t mean everyone is so afflicted.

There is a magnificent yawning chasm between the stance of “I’m concerned about letting in violent criminals” and the stance of “I believe all these illegals are violent criminals because I am afraid of brown people” but you make that jump like it’s nothing.

I don’t think it’s that cut and dried, personally.

It's a little late to reverse course in Venezuela. The situation there is what it is. With a better foreign policy, we wouldn't have desperate people seeking asylum here.

Now, we have to deal with it. Trump wants to round up all illegals into camps and deport them. Miller thinks Americans will work those jobs and receive good pay with benefits.

Trump also  wants to secure the border with the military.

I think the shall plan is better.

The person who can deal with it is behind the unprecedented and unsustainable problem and hasn't done jack shit to, as you say, deal with it. Instead, his DoJ fights any state efforts to "deal with it."
How are those executive orders that have been in the works for months going ?

Biden couldn't do much without Senate Republicans to break a filibuster.

He could use executive orders, but those are bandaids and are bad policy, whether it was W, Obama, or Trump.  .
