But it's not *that* hard.
QAnon97 is not unusual in his craziness. The world is full of crazy people. Citing fringe sources has always been a sign of wingnuttery.
Yes, I work within the fact-based media infrastructure. More importantly, it's the fact-checked infrastructure. Sometimes, especially in the rush to publish first, people make errors of phrasing, details and/or attribution.
I knew that Brian Sicknick didn't die on the 6th. The first report I heard said he'd returned to the precinct and began feeling unwell after his return. To the extent that his minutiae were misreported, I'm not concerned. We have video evidence of rioters beating cops. We know that Brian Sicknick is dead.
