A lot of this angst in the world can come down to "people don't cook, let alone garden". The worst company in the world? Swanson Foods. Destroyed the American palate, the ability to cook, and produced Tucker Carlson. Network stories about inflation do spend a lot of time on eggs (which ZOMG they have inflated) but also the prices on things like cereal, frozen pizza, etc.

There was some red meat story about grocery inflation where they went to the store with some family that had like 9 kids, mostly adopted (good for them, looks like they've really done these kids a solid). They were in the frozen section and the kid grabbed a PF Chang's meal and the mom says "no put that back, that's like the 'elite'". For crying out loud, go buy some peppers, onion, broccoli, chicken breast, garlic, and some oils and whip that shit up. Tastier, cheaper, healthier. Ain't nothing elite about a TV dinner.

I made pan fried chicken tenders the other day. Several ways to do it, none are hard.

My mom used to  make southern fried chicken in her electric skillet. She cut it up herself, dredged  in seasoned flour, and fried it in lard.

This started with me discussing PF Chang's dinners, and how to just fire up veggies and chicken. PF Chang's dinners aren't KFC. Stir fried chicken and veggies in a wok, super easy, cheap, tasty, healthy
