Trump objectively made the pandemic worse. Almost everything he did was the opposite of what should have been done. 35% of the country is fanatically devoted to him. The left needs to rethink and retool. Most people agree with Democrats on issues, but Republicans have better marketing campaigns and Dems are shooting themselves in the foot.

The slogan 'Defund the Police' is a good example. It's like 'Black Lives Matter.' If you have to explain what it means, it is simply bad messaging.

Meanwhile, Republicans are telling persuasive lie after lie, and Democrats seem incapable of responding.
