I don't know what you are referring to about Mt. Rushmore, but it is Orwellian to talk about "protecting our freedoms" when complaining about Target selling something that you don't want to buy. But, we all know the 1st Amendment certainly protects the right to boycott, such as Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, Bud Light, etc.

Of course they did. In some of those instances you had people of different races, etc. protesting as well in support.

I'm thinking those "fellow travellers" got there by because the people involved, etc. were being nice to one another, etc., etc. That was my attempted point.
