Buddhism started in India, but hardly exists there anymore. Brahmanism -- the older Hinduism, left an imprint though.

The older Theravada form of Buddhism spread to what is now Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Shri Lanka, etc. it absorbed native animistic religions, giving each national Theravada Buddhism a unique ethnic flavor.

The so-called Mahayana spread north into Tibet, China, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, etc. There it absorbed Bon, Taoism, Confucianism, Shinto, etc. Mahayana gave rise to Zen, Pure Land,  Flower Garland, Tiantai, Esoteric Diamond, and other schools of Buddhism.

Had to pick up my kid at school for pink eye. Took him to the doctor (confirmed pink eye). Filling out this form, saw something that could trigger some people.

I actually can only think of a couple of exceptions I make on this issue. We have hit on 2 of them: a contest for women and women athletics. I do not care about the bathroom issue, Bud Light influencers, serving your country....Have at it, if that is what you want. I have not gone through the list of things in life though.
